Get To Know Your Worship Leader
December 14th, 2010Brian Davis is a worship leader and songwriter in the North-Denver area. Brian has served as a worship pastor in several Denver-area churches over the past 12 years. His experience in working within these communities has helped him hone a style of music that is challenging to the soul, yet musically accessible. Always curious about why we believe what we believe and constantly in awe of the love and grace of Jesus Christ, Brian writes songs that he hopes will connect with and challenge people from all places on the spectrum of belief. Whether singing with a group of people in a cabin in the woods or leading songs before thousands, Brian makes an effort to engage every person in the room, forming a community of sojourners who are constantly stumbling toward a better way to live our lives.
For more information on Brian and to listen to his music, check out www.doyousmellthat.com.
Stepping Out In Faith
December 9th, 2010One area that will look a bit different this year at DCC will be the “Day of Faith.” We are changing this title to “Faith Experiences” because we will have three unique and compelling opportunities for DCC to take practical, application steps to the vision for reaching out to others during DCC.

Faith Experience #1: Gospel to the World: Meals for Haiti
Christ came to restore both the brokenness of our hearts and the brokenness in our world. It will be our privilege to play a part in bringing relief and restoration to earthquake-shattered communities in Haiti. In partnership with Feeding Children Everywhere and the Hyatt Regency Hotel, we will assemble over 100,000 meals for secure distribution in Haiti.

Faith Experience #2: Gospel to your Community: Spiritual Conversations through Social Media
When we think about reaching the world, often we forget that we already have many friends and family who don’t yet completely understand the Gospel. The reality is that many of us find it more difficult to share our faith with those closest to us. This hands-on experience with your small group will open up spiritual conversations with your faith with friends and family.

Faith Experience #3: Gospel to the City: Sharing on the 16th Street Mall
You don’t want to miss this! We have s surprise planned to help us start Gospel-centered conversations in a way that you’d least expect! You will go with your Small Group to the 16th Street Mall and creatively engage people in purposeful conversations about life and faith. See it as an opportunity not only to tell others about Christ, but to practice listening and asking questions to understand peoples’ spiritual journeys. Ask the Lord to use you in a unique way to communicate the Gospel to others.

Raise Money For DCC
November 24th, 2009Don’t have enough money for DCC? You are a college student. Totally understandable. But don’t let that keep you from joining 1,200 other students this Christmas break.
You might not realize it, but you have many friends and family members who would be willing to give you a gift to help cover your DCC expenses.
We’ve taken the time to write up an ask letter for you to send out! Also, you will find a response card document that you can send with your letter.
